Well my truck is rusted where the hitch and the bumper bolt on. I took it to my welder buddy to look at and said it would be a lot of work to cut out old frame and weld in new. He suggested put a flatbed on it with a hitch welded to the bed instead of doing a bunch of work. He said he would help me build one wayyyyy cheaper than I can buy one. Anybody ever build one?

If you have the equipment go for it!I was gonna build one to my liking, butjust dont have time to fab one so im buying a "cookie cutter" flarbed and dropping it on and calling it a day. Good luck!

Actually I decide to sell my fourwheeler and just buy one. It would be lot easier and maybe cheaper.

I've found some on Craigslist less than $600. Just hope it goes on right. Not sure on how to install it.

I built my own for less than $300, square box tubing and 1/8 plate for the top. I've hauled over a ton on it no problems

Ya building can be cheaper plus you get just what your looking for. Gonna be possibly building one for mine very soon too.

I bought one for mine for 500. Came off a 78 model. Its fits almost perfect. Got the u bolts on and getting some welds on Saturday. It is 4 inch channel. Its is very heavy! Got a place for a big pintle hook that bolts on. Gotta put on a headache reach and paint it. I'll post pics soon. I love it so far.

Ya. Got 7 chicken light and gonna add a couple more. I'll post pics soon. Made my mud flaps and ran my filler neck up through the bed.
